Short version: the website uses Google Analytics to count visits, with your consent where the law requires it. The Crawlens app keeps your crawl data on your own computer.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. It records things like the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location (country or city), your device and browser, and clicks on the Download button. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals that don't identify you, as described in Google's consent mode documentation.

We don't use advertising cookies, don't run ads, and don't sell or share personal data. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes server logs (including IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
